Is TeX supported on this forum? If not, would it be possible to do so?
The All About Circuits forum has it, and it gives you the capability of making equations much more readable.
This fraction (for calculating parallel resistance) in text would be almost impossible to read:

$\frac{1}{\frac{1}{R_1}+\frac{1}{R_2}+{\dots}+{\frac{1}{R_N}}}$

The TeX code is
Code:
\frac{1}{\frac{1}{R_1}+\frac{1}{R_2}+{\dots}+{\frac{1}{R_N}}}
Not simple, but worth it, in my estimation.
If TeX, or something similar, is available, please forgive my ignorance.

Where have you been?
Where I've been is not on the Math and Physics forum.
I didn't recall seeing formatted equations on the forums I lurk in. Perhaps almost no one uses LaTeX here.

I've just started using Latex.
Are Latex and Tex the same thing, or are they different notations?
