using parallelport

Hello!

I´m planing to use the parallel port on the pc, using Visual Basic. Anybody here who knows where i can get a activeX control to steer the parallelport pin by pin?? Or is there any other easy way to control the port??

Do a Google search for inpout32.dll This small freeware program allows you to do API programming calls to read/write the parallel port hardware addresses using commands such as INP and OUT that were available in QBasic. Make sure to get the latest version that works under both Win9X and NT based operating systems. There are also some sample test programs included in the download that give some examples of how to use under various programming languages.
