I am in the work of counters using flipflops (7476). I am now building a twisted ring or Johnson Counter. The problem is with their duty ratio, how can I change the duty ratio of a twisted ring counter? Is it fixed for 0.5, or it can be varied by adding any gates in their feedback path?

You can decode any duty cycle you want, within the resolution of your counter, with a single two input gate. I haven't thought about adding gates in the feedback path, but I would think it would also modify your divide ratio. It also ceases to be a folded ring (Johnson) counter.
