Hi all,

Sometimes I see square coils, and sometimes round coils. Is there an advantage to using one or the other?

Thanks,
Ray:)

What are "coils"? Assuming you mean transformers, they are different shapes because of either:
1. The space requirements.
2. The voltage they have to handle.
3. The current they have to handle.
and 4. If it is for use with high or low frequency.
