Color organ crisis

found this circuit on net. trying it for days but the damn circuit wont work. the only change i've made is giving the audio input 4m a LM386 which is then reamplified through the 1st opamp of lm324 (as in circuit ) and the other big change is that they are both being powrd by a pure dc supply(separate) rather than the common rectifier as shown in ckt.

what m i doing wrong ?

The first opamp does not have a DC bias voltage so its output will be extremely distorted rectified audio.

but wont we be needing the outputs of opamps to trigger the SCRs?

The SCRs are triggereed from the rectified outputs of the filter opamps.
