choke transformer help

hey there,
i wonder if anyone can help me out here
first off, i'm having trouble finding information on a certain component, a choke transformer part number 25E06342S01, i can't find a data sheet on this part just its cost, its for an alpine amp, secondly i'm a little fuzzy on what a choke transformer actually does, if anyone can offer some info that would be great..

I Have No Info on that Part Number, But Know the Manufacturer would be a help.

As to its Purpose, Typically it is used in Conjunction with a Filter Capacitor to Reduce Ripple in a DC Supply. Or it can be used in Other Filter Application. Your letter doesn't give enough info to tell what purpose this choke is serving.
