The pcb design shown on the datasheet has no 220uF supply capacitor C4 because it assumes that you know that a well-filtered DC power supply has it built-in. If you have only a rectified transformer then C4 should be 4700uF.
The pcb has an input signal ground on the left side and a power supply ground on the right side. If you put the groung wire of the 470uf capacitor wrongly on the left side then the amplifier will probably oscillate at a high frequency and get messed up.
