Hello Gentlemen,
I've been working on a little circuit to drive a stepper motor. The attached schematic is of the logic part only and will bee connected to a dual H-Bridge circuit later. Reversing the rotation is to come in a day or so.
I'm sure there are many ways to design a circuit for that purpose and my intention is to learn logic gates and flip flops.
So basically the circuit will energize the motor in the following sequence Coil A> Coil B>Coil A' (Reverse polarity of A)>Coil B' (Reverse polarity of B)
Any and all feedback is welcomed and I have a specific question for which I would appreciate and answer. Will the initial status of the outputs of the flip flops be Q=0 and Q' = 1 or do I have to preset/clock them to insure their start values?
Thanks
Kal
