Proteus LCD displays only Xs

Hi,

I am learning proteus and the LCD displays only something like this- X X XXX XXX. It happens to any correct program(not mine). Can anybody help?


BTW how to insert image from PC here?

To import an image simply click the "upload file" button just below the editor, towards the right.

picture cannot be uploaded, it says there was a problem while uploading, tried different image format but didn't work

What type of image is it? You may be exceeding the allowed file size too. Try reducing the size and try again.

i tried three image types- png, jpeg and gif png has 5kb others have 20kb, they don't work

i had set to osc to 1MHz, changed to 4MHz and it worked
