lcd is not displaying i am AT89C51 on proteus

Your main loop is over 200 lines long.....

On Proteus, you have to init() the screen by the book...

send 0x30 three times with the correct delays 15ms, 5ms and 5ms..
Then 0x38 etc...

I cannot follow your foreverloop. its painstaking.. there is a mismatch in the braces ( but that could have been me..)
