I need help identifying a part
118341

Woud anyone be able to provide me with detials of this part

Welcome to ETO, rb!

We'll need more context to even guess.

What is the function of the board it is on? Can the board be identified (part number, etc). Is there a schematic available for the board?

I was unable to find any data from the numbers on the device.

It appears to be a voltage regulator from the pin labelling (In Out, Adj)

I can't find the part number, though the -50 likely means it is a fixed 5V type.

An LD1086DT50TR may be suitable, but you really need to verify it is a +5V type. If one of the pins labelled of J18 in that text block is +5V, check for continuity from there to the metal tab on the blown IC.

**broken link removed**

Also check the device dimensions against the package drawings in the datasheet.

It is a 1117-50 regulator.
