I am trying to find info on muscle stimulators. That is, electronic diagrams and technical info on devices used to relax muscles elecronically. How they work and how to build one. Any body has such info?

The government tested them and determined that they were a scam, then kicked the importer out of the country. It is no good to just twitch a muscle.
Millions of gullable people bought them for a very high price.

It wouldn't be relaxing to get zapped every second.

Could you be possibly talking about a Tenz unit. They are a medical device that generate impulses. One use is to manage sevier pain. If this is what you are talking about, I have built a number of them.

First off - it doesn't take a lot of current to kill someone. Anything that might be so directly wired to the body must be made safe - if you don't know how to do that - don't build it.

I had some very tight muscles in my leg last fall. E-stim was used by a doctor to relax the muscles. Yes the e-stim contracts the muscles but after a few minutes of therapy the muscles were more relaxed - after e-stim was stopped.

I recall seeing a biomedical or biomechanical handbook at Amazon, used and moderate cost. I had browsed that book at the bookstore and concluded that it would be a handy reference if only to understand how devices like the muscle stimulators work.

You're better off building a biofeedback circuit to monitor Alpha/Theta waves from the brain. Many years back I tried out a commercial unit, concentrating my thoughts to lower the pitch of the audio tone as low as possible. The lower the pitch the more relaxed I became... to the point that the professor slammed a book on a nearby table as a distraction, and I never even heard it! That's about as close to being in a deep sleep, yet still awake with my eyes open!

I'm not a pervert or anything BUT, i'm wondering what would happen if one of these "electro Muscle Stimulators" was to be used on the Love wand?? I'm pretty sure that's why so many of them have been sold, Maybe it's an electronic form of viagra of sorts?

That actually sounds kinda cool. How exactly does it work? Do you have to wear some kind of helmet or do they stick somthing to your forehead? How does it sense the brainwaves?

A foreign exchange student of mine recently returned from London while there for a few months of study. She visited other towns and said the weather was gloomy a majority of the time. Now on another sidenote: I was told that Britain is creating more and more traffic circles instead of using intersection traffic lights. Is that true? Supposedly, the flow of traffis is smoother and drivers are more alert and responsive when merging as compared to their behavior at traffic lights. True or false?

Depends what time of year it is?, most of the UK certainly gets plenty of rain!

What's a 'traffic circle'?, I'm presuming you mean a 'roundabout'? - a round island in the middle of the road, and traffic entering it has to give way to traffic from the right (or left in your case).

Supposedly, the flow of traffis is smoother and drivers are more alert and responsive when merging as compared to their behavior at traffic lights. True or false?

I don't know if it's better or not?, recently (at least round here) they have started fitting traffic lights at some of the roundabouts - not on all the entrances, but on some of them. This seems to give the optimum performance?.
