Hi everyone, got ANOTHER rf question (i know this is getting annoying :(). Neway, I'm building another transmitter. This isn't exactly precise, but this example will do. When I put a 2 pf cap into the parallel LC circuit, I can hear my voice crystal clear on one part of the dial. when I put in a 1 pf cap, i get a bunch of crackly stuff wherever I turn the dial. I'm trying to find my base frequency without an oscilliscope. Also, how much stronger is the base frequency than the first harmonic? Like twice as much? thanx :D

Much more than that, if it's a decent sinewave (as it should be) the harmonic content should be very low.
