Hi I don't know if this is the right place but I have a usb powered device with a momentary power switch. It will power off when main device is turned off and then when main device turned on you need to press the power button on the usb device. now if I hold down power button and power on and off main device it turns on and of with that device. so my question is can i override that switch.
I'm sorry if I did not explain myself well .
Thanks for your help.

If holding the switch down makes the device power off and on as you, then ahorting across the momentary switch contacts should make it come on any time power is applied.

You could short across it with a toggle switch to have the option of the device powering automatically or not.
