Individual PC Boards

Where is the best place to get a small batch (1 or 2) of PC Boards, of a prototype. I have Gerber files , etc.

JLCPCB - but you get five - and while the boards are cheap, and great quality, the postage from China is expensive. I'm currently waiting for two sets of boards at the minute.

How big are the boards? What's your (kimbear's) definition of "expensive" for 5 boards?
