Hello friends...

What is difference between relay and triac for switching lower load..

A triac is a solid state device primarily designed to switch AC loads. Triacs have a leakage current associated with them. The load has to be larger than the leakage current. Triacs shut off at 0 V irregardless of gate current. Relays have inherent isolation. An SSR (Solid State Relay) can sometimes be a triac with isolation, although it is a generic term.
