CMOS explained??

Hi there. Can anyone offer a comprehensive explanation of how CMOS' work or perhaps recomend a good article or tutorial? I don't know anything about using them. I need to use 2 for an LED Chaser circuit that I am working on for a friend and I would like to have a better understanding of what they do and how thay can be used.

You should look up the data sheet of the devices you intend to use. Cmos logic is just a bunch of MOS transistors, this data sheet page may give you an idea.
