Broken solar cells

hello my friend bought a big box of broken solar cells from electronic goldmine and i was wondering how to i wire them up and solder the leads????

normaly there are 2 strips on the cells (+ and -)

just solder the wires on it and put the cells in serie or parallel

depending on the desired voltage and power requirement

I just see your second mail but in my oppinion it's not a bargain for broken cells

yeah my friend bought them. are the cells labled with+ and -

normaly they are not labbled so you have to measure what is + and -

Goldmine has a PDF for soldering to solar cells, believe it describes how to use the broken cells.

Got these off the first search page, might be more on that site. I read on once, been a while, but remember it gave detailed instructions.
