:!: Hi, From recent help recieved I learn that the complement for the S9015 (PNP) transistor is the S9014 (NPN), also that an equivalent device for the S9015 could be BC 557, BC556 & BC558. :?: I now plan to use the BC557C (PNP), on looking at the specs I have the BC550C (NPN) could be used as the complement, is this the case? Can anyone please point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Trev

The complements for BC557, BC556 and BC 558 are BC547, BC 546 and BC 548 respectivly

BC557 comp. pair

:D hi,

as an added info on the reply of Exo, pls take note that the BC557 has a current rating of 200ma. while the comp. pair BC457 & 458 has a current rating of 100ma. :)

Where did you see that? In all my datasheets BC557 is 100ma just like BC547

bc557

:D

according to my record here which came from the parts supplier the 557 is a pnp 0.625w 45v 320Mhz 0.2A, 547 npn 0.625w 65v 150Mhz 0.1A and the 548 same as 547.

if what you have is a manufacturers datasheet am inclined to believe that it is correct, what could have happened here could have been a typographical error from the parts supplier.

will try to get the datasheet of that 557 and show it to my parts supplier so they may correct the error.

correction well taken, thanx
