Fusible resistor polarized?

Are fusible resistors polarized? The symbol on my circuit board shows a normal resistor symbol with a dot at one end. My intuition say it should not be polarized. But there are two of these fusible resistors next to each other on the circuit board and one has the dot at one end and the other has the dot at the opposite end. I unsoldered these guys to check if they were open and am concerned about their orientation going back on. Thanks

Fusible resistors are not normally polarisesd, are you sure they are fusible resistors.

Whats the colour code on the body of the resistor.?

No I don't think there are polarized. Are these resistors mounted flat or vertically?

If the latter case, then there are two possible orientations.

The body of the part is white. There are no color bands. There is a letter C, followed by a symbol that looks like an O, with a little diagonal line in the middle. Next to that is 0.1Ω. Below all this is 27. The ends are light blue in color. Part was mounted laying flat. Thanks

The dot on the board is to signify it's a fusible resistor, and not a normal one, that's all.

What confused me was that the symbols on the circuit board had the dot at one end of one symbol, and the dot at the opposite end of the other symbol. Since they are side-by-side, I would have expected the symbols to be laid out alike. There must be some reason why they laid out the symbols that way; probably to confuse people like me.
