which relay can be used to drive a AC pump

hey,
i`m trying to make a water pump driver ,i made the ckt.

but,i need to connect an ac pump driver to an relay for switching,i`m thinking of using spdt-12V
relay any other better option...

We need to know what your pump power/VA/current rating is. An opto-isolator and triac might be a substitute for the relay.

its an AC pump driver,work on 220 v

you would need to >match the current capabilities of the relay for the pump EG. a 3amp relay will burn out on a 5amp motor, but a 5amp relay is fine for a 3amp motor. check the spec on the pump housing for the amps or watts.
