Hi,

Is there a power regulator that will give me a contant supply of 3.6v with the following voltage conditions

input = 3.0v 2amp MAX (250ma normal)
input = 3.9v 2amp MAX (250ma normal)

In other words regulate and or boost if needed, oh yea, also ability to turn it off from a MCU so it uses no current at all, and finally with a £50 stuck on each one for the supplier :D

Thx

A Buck/Boost regulator is what you want. The MAX1759 does it but doesn't go as high as 2 amps; **broken link removed**

Do a Google search for buck/boost circuit and you may find a good one.
