Boncuk New Member Jan 15, 2009 #1 Hello, a while ago there was an automatic update of the Microsoft messenger. The download obviously didn't complete. Since that time windows tries to install the update persistanty searching without result. That happens every two minutes, which is utmost annoying. How can I delete the "Installer message" in the windows startup? Thank you Boncuk Last edited: Jan 15, 2009

Grossel Well-Known Member Jan 16, 2009 #7 Thought problem was when messenger was running. Than my other suggestion is to download and run Autoruns. That program let you specify programs that you don't want to start together with windows.
