Why is Mplab 5.20 a mess

Ok the problem is the printf
This just doesn't work

printf(?\n\rThe ADC Value is: %i   ?,ADCC_GetSingleConversion(POT));

You have ? instead of " no?
printf("\n\rThe ADC Value is: %i ",ADCC_GetSingleConversion(POT));

Yes sir I was trying some code from https://microchipdeveloper.com
and it showed using the ? it should of been " I can't believe it
it now works fine I'm using 5.15 tho forget 5.20
