Welder body swap

I put a mig welder in a bigger body to run a larger size roll of wire, and it is now inoperable. Please help. I thought it was a fluke, so I tried another, same thing. I now have 3 inop.

You should try it again, I've heard that the "the third time is the charm". I've also heard that repeating the same thing over and over is a sign of insanity. Let us know which is the right phrase.
