I wanted to turn on my fm transmitter thats attached to my cd player whenever the cd player is turned on. Would it drain too much from the signal if I used the headphone jack for the signal and to turn on a transistor that would end up turning on the transmitter. Is there something that would drain less. I thought the transistor would drain about 0.6 volts.
