I'm strugling to design a timer/chronometre using synchronous counters (made of JK flipflops) .i made the chronometre part but don't know how to do the timer part.
If you mean a count-down timer then you just load the count time you want into the FF's and then configure them to count down to zero. When they reach zero, you stop the count and your time has elapsed.
