Timed Switch

i am building a timed switch to operate an audio device. the swich have to operate at a fixed time for a fixed period. for example i need to switch on a set of devices at 7.00PM and have to be on for 15 minutes, pls help

They sell these at a lot of places. They're called alarm clocks.

i could use a clock movement and with only hour needle attached. this will work nicely. but i was thinking one constructing one

Use a digital clock.

Or a wall timer with 15 minute resolution. Cheaper than building one.
