As we're now posting in a forum, I could make no sense of your PM, and didn't have the faintest idea what you were on about!. It didn't make any reference to any thread, and I've better things to do than reply to obscure PM's (of which I receive many!).

A dog in Cowplain became a beer drunk and was becoming a nuisance.

I am North of New York and the temperature is warm and the snow is almost gone.

It was almost spring like here in Northwest Ohio. About 30" of snow that was around for a month is almost all gone!

The snow is slowly melting now.

Some parts of the country have had heavy rain which has combined with the snow melt to cause flooding.

Another problem is the nights are still cold enough to re-freeze the snow melt that occurs during the day causing black ice.

Before the snow I had snow drops and aconites in flower in the garden which are still covered as they're in a shady part of the garden where the snow hasn't yet melted.

The forecast says it's going to be milder by next week with no frost on some nights.
