Ping is OK, but it seems like it's taking forever to access the DB.

Wow.. The whole of yesterday was abysmal.... I would select a thread and go make a coffee...

It must have been a DNS server because as you all say, other web sites were fine..

It was off-line totally for a while yesterday, then eventually came back on, but ran very slowly.
