Hi,

Am looking for a IrDA transceiver module (SIR), 8 pin and temperature range we want temperature range around -40deg. Am unable to get the manufacturers other then Vishay. Please help me in providing few manufacturers name who do IrDA transceivers.

What's wrong with the Vishay IR detectors? -40 is pretty harsh is it going to the antarctic?

Sharp makes IR detectors.

but again it is rated at -25deg C.

Didn't know Turkey got that cold. At those temperatures the IR will probably not work anyway. Whos going to stand outside with a TV remote at -45c anyway? What's it for?
