Ok fine. You also need to get the critical components like 10.7MHz filters and discriminators, maybe a muRata one to start at least. Another problem is that these IC's are packaged into SDIP, so need to etch a pcb or an SDIP to DIP converter socket(rare?) to easily work on a general purpose stripboard.
TBH, I don't have these facilities, so all my sony and nxp IC's are still waiting to get a life
