ericgibbs Well-Known Member Most Helpful Member May 26, 2008 #3 Hi Gayan, Problems with PIR's is that they only detect 'body' motion, ideal for checking entry/exit from a room, but if the person is still [motionless] the PIR will not detect him. Regards OP, is it required to check entry into room.? Last edited: May 26, 2008

Of course if the person is in a good sleep it wont detect. Ahhhhh I remember that I did a similar thing into my room light. If anyone Presence it will switch on the light. But this a little bit advanced. The OP needs some kind of people counter.
