I am experimenting with a homemade pc fan controller and was wondering if it makes a difference if I placed the pot on the positive or negative leads between the power supply and the fan.
So you connected a Fan with a pot in series? I won't make a difference in wich lead the pot is located. But it's considered good practise to connect GND directly and do all the regulating in the other lead.
