plot anayzer software

Is there a software i could use to analyze plot? I type in the plots equation (y=x^2+4x+5 for instance) and it draws a plot. then with some commands i could find a point where it crosses another plot, X line or y line. for hyperboles also the highpoint etc. For some basics i use Maple. but it's not very accurate.
