What would happen if two pentodes were put in series to make a cascode amplifier? Pentodes are are a kind of constant current source and isn't two ccs in series bad?
They would work ok with a proper bias network. But a pentode already has a screen grid to minimize the miller capacitance so why would you want to build a pentode cascode?
