only seen it of the color white..
and it has a lot of holes in table format which are contected in some way to ech other...
mhh. only thing you have to do is clicking ot putting the calble in it..
(you don't neet soldering..) it like a test board..maybe that's a better name...
when i remember and see a foto i will post it..
the prob is i need a faster design stage of my pcb now it takes much time to test several things..
etc..whit that pcb thing..i only need bunch of cable wich i can easyli click in or just pull of..
The holes are connected in groups of four vertically, and there are 4 lines which go horisontaly for the power rails. Chips and other components go across the middle divide.
They connect together like a jigsaw, so you can use several small ones together.
They are great! they are not dangeours as long as you only use low voltages on them
**broken link removed**
That will get you going!!!
Ok, you can buy bags of cable to interconnect the pins with, or use strands of CAT5 (network) cable stripped back.
They are very usefull for proto's but they do have a habit of tripping you up with a dodgy connection, so if your code works, then stops, it's probably loose wire
as mechanical engineer i know alot of construction and cnc etc..
soow i'm think of making my own CNC pcb machine..
well..first i need lot moreinformation about the pics..
and especially about my weakness..electronics in general..
Then the hunt begins..
i'm already @ the point of buying a temperature controllerd solder bolt..??machine..?? well you know what i mean the think that becomes hot.. and melds your components to gether..
I am always joking with Bonny (IC-PROG author) that he speaks hurdy-gurdy and he tells me, "with a smile in his voice", to f**k off!
Mabe you should try the same!!!
Anyway you got yourself some breadboard sorted yet? Can you order it over there? Are there any electical shops you can travel to in your tractor?
Dat Nederlands spreken gaat mij anders redelijk af denk ik zo.
I'm also working on a CNC machine to mill my pcb boards and to assist me in building my ship models. Also mechanical engineer (HTS) and also interested in PIC's. My problem is that I have no idea to translate my ideas to ASM. In stead I'm considering C or Basic and take the (small) speed loss for granted.
For those interested; take a look at www.majosoft.com and www.luberth.com/cstep for more info on this subject and for examples of home made cnc machines.
