ps : carful you must reverse the RX and TX in the output of the first MAX232 to the input of the second MAX232

Could you provide the schematic, how you connect the 2 MAX232 Chips

It will also work great with 4, 6, 8 or more MAX232s. :eek:

Of course, it can also work with zero MAX232.

Both sides are at logic level, albeit different system voltages of perhaps 3V and 5V. A simple interface will do.
