Hi,
I'm putting together an RF link to bypass the IR on my mindstorm. It will be an 'ad on' module that merely intercepts the IR at each end and the repeats it at its destination.
My question is whether the mindstorm can cope with recieving its own transmitted data. Under the system I've designed any data the rcx sends out will be picked up also by the reciever on that rcx. I suspect this is not a problem, as under the standard system, especially in the tower, the reciever must detect its own IR transmissions, and this doesn't seem to cause problems. Does anyone out there have any ideas?
Cheers,
Ben
