Hello All,

hopefully this is a simple one for you all.

basically I want a switch that switches a mosfet when the north of a magnet is facing and switches another when the south is facing.

im assuming there is some way to do this with a hall effect sensor?

hopefully someone can help me with a circuit diagram as I am a noivce in electroincs.

Regards,
Stu

If you want to have nothing switch on when there is no magnet, you need two switches.

Two of these, one mounted each way up, should work. **broken link removed**

ok I might need a bit more explaination?

do they switch or do I have to add some other circuitry to it?

also one up each way? one with the leads facing up and leads facing down?

thanks.
