But will Windoze/Microsoft still be around in 30 years time when someone not yet born has to fix this? You can purchase Microsoft Visio Professional (2019) for £3.61 GBP from hrkgame.com, I purchased it 2 years ago and its great for circuit diagrams etc, they send you a licence key and you download the software.

My only worry is whether I get go to heaven or iif I get to spend eternity with all of my friends.any one of us could be dead in 30 years so why worry.
Well you won't get to heaven - it's actually underground beneath Maryland, only has capacity for 300,000 and has been completely full for centuries. Even the Popes all go to hellMy only worry is whether I get go to heaven or iif I get to spend eternity with all of my friends.

I don't really want to spend $299 on Corel draw. Maybe $9 on a copy of icircuit simulator for iPad, Mac or Windows or one of the dozens of no-cost PCB drawing tools (that come with circuit drawing tools) or a simulation tool like TI's Tina or any of the dozens of other circuit simulation packages. If you don't mind a late reply, I use Corel Draw to generate schematics. I've created a page of symbols that I can copy into a new schematic. It's not automatic like "real" schematic tools, but Corel has a pretty good set of positioning features that makes it easy to create very good-looking schematics. Works for me.
Here's an example:

I could send you my "electronics parts box" with all the symbols if you like. And you can create new ones pretty easily.
