LCD Interfacing with K60 micro-controller

Hello ,

I'm new to this forum. I'm using LM16200 lcd interfcing with K60.
I'm able see the signals on data lines operating in 4- bit mode. But if I send wake up command, the response from LCD is "cursor on" . Can anyone suggest me , where the problem i'm facing?

Attached is the datasheet I refer to when using a 2 line 16 digit LCD display. Look at the flow chart on Page 13. You need to insert the delays or it wont work.

Yes check your timings, some displays are tolerant but others mess up unless you meet minimum delays.
