The Maxon Formulae Handbook by Jan Braun recently showed up in my email. It contains a wealth of information on motor drive systems, calculating bearing friction, PWM control and other drive methods. It also includes detailed information of many electronics equations. This should be a value reference for anyone designing drive systems.

I may have to revisit a few projects that have been on the back burner

It looks like a very useful reference work; I'm messing around with some motion control stuff right now, so good timing!
