I have an inverter with an output power of 500 watts. I want to increase its output power to 1500 watts. If there is a solution, please help me. Thank you

Hi,

There is almost no way to do this effectively. That's because all of the big parts have a limit to what they can handle, and most of the smaller parts also have limits. That means you'd have to swap out almost all of the parts, and those parts constitute most of the cost of an inverter/converter. What you would end up doing is just using the control circuitry, but you'd also have to increase the case size most likely. So after you strip out all the big parts and most of the smaller parts, you'd have very little left to save for the modified converter. The cost of the parts saved would be less than 5 percent, if that. That means if the original converter cost was $100, then you would be discarding about $95 of the parts. There are so many parts that are sized to match the power output that it would just never be worth it.

You would be better off starting from scratch, but that's not that easy to do because there are special design techniques that go into a converter that are not that apparent unless you understand them completely.
Even better, since the price of converters have come down a lot in the past decade or two, you'd do well to buy a new one that is already built and completely ready to use. You also have to upgrade the power source for powering the converter if it has a battery input.
