Bill is honest and I am a cheat
Bill is smart and i am an idiot
Bills ideas are great and mine are useless
Bill knows who is right and who is wrong
Bill never drives 56 mph in a 55
If it isnt good for bill no one should have it
Bill has never opened a sealed unit and voided a warrenty
Only Bill can decide if it can be done
Bill needs to know exactly what everyone is doing so he can rule the ideas

So you honestly can't see why some people might have a problem with the nature of your question? Your childish reactions aren't quite elegant either. Makes it a bit hard to sympathsize. But anything you do will put your job at risk. At least in a metal box you can say "oh, oops didn't notice." What can you say if you took apart your phone, modified it, and put it back together again? Plus, it's a lot easier and doesn't matter what type of phone it is.

Did I call you an idiot? I don't recall that.

You're the one wanting to cheat your boss... Obviously your boss doesn't trust you either if he's putting GPS tags on his employees, maybe he's not an idiot and can't figure out why some things don't add up. If your boss is too much for you then get another job or do your work.

I'm not stopping anyone from answering your question, I'm not a moderator. I won't help you cheat someone either.

I do have enough skills to service many things, I can't fix a cell phone though and certainly would not attempt to modify it. A GPS transmitter is also not my purview although I do have some NMEA experience.

I've voided warranties and gotten my fair share of speeding / parking tickets.

Ok im new but im sure this is possible also you would most likely need a ton of information. Like what IC they use and would need like a oscillator or something to debug the chip to see what it sends out (patterns and stuff) and im sure much much more.

You probably knew this by now and if you do then good luck.

well Ive seen a couple of places where the phones schematics are posted (cant remeber thought). But anyways, lucky me for living in Norway where there are strick laws on how to treat employees..

I agree whit Bill - Either deal with your boss or change job..

I could find a good profesional that could do exactly what you need. On the phone, to my question, he asked 425,000 USD cash and three months and two days time to complete.

Let me know if that is Ok for you.

Yes, 425K USD...

...and two days to vanish from Earth. (The remaining three months, is time for his wife to wait before telling he is not at home anymore.) :D :D :D

Thanks God the OP doesn't work with / for me!

I guess I'm out of the running at 1.75 Megabucks. Oh well, I'll hafta find another way to afford a new VNA.

Well i got it to work thanx to the suggestion from the oscillator guy.
He was right, you can simply oscillate anything and make it connect.

LOL you're so full of it, you claimed you didn't even have the phones yet. Which cell phone is it? Care to share your discovery? Amazing GPS spoofing with a simple oscillator, Nobel prize material.

For all of you (mega no sayers) oscillating in an infinite loop of nops.
A caveman could look at my photo and realise that if you probe all the pins
on the gps chip you could probably find the serout line.

Bill I would race my pinto against your mustang any day in canada.
as long as we used a gps to track who wins.

My Mustang has long been converted into razor blades.

Don't Pintos blow up?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pinto
The characterization of Ford's design decision as gross disregard for human lives in favor of profits led to major lawsuits, criminal charges, and a costly recall of all affected Pintos. While Ford was acquitted of criminal charges, it lost several million dollars and gained a reputation for manufacturing "the barbecue that seats four."
