I have made another update to my SAP-1 design. This design includes a micro-code ROM controller sequencer like the one detailed at the end of Chapter 10 of Digital Computer Electronics. Full schematics can be found here:

I agree with everyone else, tracing this out will just learn you how to trace not how a micro works, I suspect your teacher knows little about a micro too.
