How to Set/Reset Latch?

Will be using 3 IR LED's and Recievers.

How to Set/ Reset latch using IR Receiver(IR Sensor)?
And also will it be able to make Not gate run (as an input) and count a Counter using the IR Sensor?


Which IR sensor can i use for it/ should i use anything else(2-3Ft)?

Will it work for all Vcc Voltages?

That is very easy. Get an IR LED, an IR receiver. Give the IR LED a 3V supply from old batteries that you have, point it to your IR receiver LED. It usually reads from 0 to 1.1V. To interface them to PICs, see this circuit:

Use an LM358 for the comparator.

May i know the Connections of Receiver,
i want it to be as simple as possible. Just tell me the three pins of this Reciever.
