How to connect transistors in parallel

By some weird coincidence, I just happened to find the TV manual I mentioned earlier :)

So here's a scan of the relevant part - it's dated 1969 - and used two BU105's in series. This version of the set wasn't made for very long, it was soon replaced by a version with a single BU205 instead.
