We're discussing the DM7476 which is a master/slave JKFF with preset and clear. We were thinking how to make a 2 bit register out of it (If you know the answer to my question, you probably already know this, but--for registers we need DFFs, which, in terms of the JKFF is the same as connecting the input to J, and the compliment of the input to K.)

We're only supposed to use this chip, and our prof explained that there is someway to invert the input (for K) just by using clear and preset. I didn't really catch it. Does anybody know how to do this?

here is the datasheet.

Thanks
