help needed in lm3914 circuit design

Nobody here is a SIR so please stop calling people a SIR (knighted by the queen of England). Most of us have never seen the queen.
Maybe there is a queen in your country.
The sensor of your extremely simple project is the resistance of the moisture of the soil between the probes which conducts and makes the input of the LM3914 a positive voltage. The LM3914 is a simple DC voltmeter.

MSVBVM50.dll is the runtime library for visual Basic 5.0, and can be downloaded from Microsoft.
